I'm moving to Seattle to take a job hacking at Amazon.com. It's going to be a change from Portland, but not too dramatic. Hopefully I like the new job, I think i'll be working with some really smart people, which will be challenging and good. Off the top of my head, here's the top 5 things I predict that I'm going to like about Seattle:
pumping my own gas!
two hours closer to Ketchup chips and Molson beer
space-needle-as-a-phallus jokes
beating up Microsoft programmers on the front lines of the gang warfare between .Net and Java. I gotta learn how to do the inverted cane symbol with my index finger and thumb, shouting "J-side, bro!"
finding myself at ground zero when the return of the grunge movement comes
Oh and since Apple shipped their new Intel Mac Mini's, I got one preloaded with Comic Life. Good times:

Well, I never had time to spill the beans on this subject as you released it to the world much too early and I only found out the other day.... Anyways have a good time and remmeber it pays to be a geek.

Apparently my boss used to work at Amazon, I suspect you'll feel right at home, congrats dude. I wonder if I could have whiteboarded out a compiler, let's see you have syntax analysis, lexical analysis, create an dfa, convert to an nfa, code generation. Something like that anyways, toughy.
I dig the comic styles too very cool looking, just needs some Japanese style punchline that seemingly makes no sense, would be fun to change the words to something else.
Anyhoo, it's 9:39 pm, and it's crunch time at work on Silent Hill, back to work I go, yay overtime!
