BUT FOOTBALL PLAYERS DON'T DO INSTANT MESSAGING

After the sweet comeback 'Rider victory on Sunday afternoon, my sister Leanne emailed me:

I just had a great idea! You should fly to Vancouver next weekend, visit Jenny and go to the game!

It seemed like a great idea so I checked out expedia, orbitz, priceline and Alaska Air searching for a cheap flight. Unfortunately, the best I could find was $418, and the flight that fit my schedule nicely was over $600.

And then I found a link on one of the pages, weekend Vancouver gettaways from $296. In a bizarre twist of events, the travel industry will cut the price by $350 to take a rental car off their hands for the weekend! That was a deal I couldn't resist!

I'm flying in Friday night (arriving at 9:41pm) and out on Monday morning (7:25am), so it should be another fun weekend in Canada. The Roughriders are hot right now, and I am excited to see a rematch of the 2004 western final.

For the game I'm planning on representing the Ridernation with a carved watermelon and a creative sign. I've got some sign ideas, probably using the /=S=/ logo for a leetspeak-themed sign:
