I THINK I'M PRETTY CLEVER

We were wandering around San Francisco and we came across this hotel absolutely surrounded by cops. The hotel was huge and there were police cars and police trucks lining all four roads. We wandered over to some other tourists while we speculated what the commotion was about. One of 'em said, "I heard that USA vice president Dick Cheney's in town..."
And then being as clever as I am, I responded, "Well no wonder there's all the police officers, Cheney might shoot someone!!" And nobody laughed.
