Hotel options

i haven't finished looking into group rates etc- but I think I should put online the best options:

A nice new, upper-scale hotel near lots of restaurants, the highway to liuna, the airport, and really easy to get to Caledonia is the Courtyard Marriott

A cheaper alternative is to stay in the Mohawk College new residences with kitchenette- they offer free breakfast. It's also in a good location, and anyone looking for a cheap place to stay, this is a great option.

The third option that I'll recommend right now is one that's closest to the airport and Caledonia, though there's nothing really around it is the Super Eight Motel in Mount Hope.

Registering

Well, we may be behind the game for this kind of stuff, but we finally got the ball rolling this weekend.

We've registered! When we first starting thinking about registering we asked ourselves if we were even going to register, or if we were going to register in Canada and store things up there, or if we were going to register in Canada and ship it down to California. After much discussion, we've decided that registering in the states makes the most sense for right now. We don't know how long we'll be in California for, but know that we'll have to move stuff back to Canada regardless. Moving things from one location is going to be easier to co-ordinate than moving things from California and some location in Canada. We are going to register somewhere in Canada too, for those people who want to go in to check out things that we've selected.
