Hi, I'm Michelle from Kitchener, Canada.
I have been a member of Girl Guides since I was 5 years old. I was a brownie, guide, pathfinder, ranger and currently I am a link member. I acted as a scouter-in-training for two years with the 38th 'B' cub pack.
This is my first year in 5 years that I have not played lacrosse. Unfortunately, I do not qualify for the under 19 league located in my area. I hope to pursue refereeing in the future with Ontario Women's Field Lacrosse.
My interest in the environment started when I was 11 years old. I started by joining my grade 5 environment club and proceded on to run an environment club in junior high for three years. When I entered highschool I was determined to achieve the position of Environmental Rep and in my OAC year I achieved this goal.
Currently, I am working at ACE camp as a counsellor. This will be my second year back at ACE as a counsellor and I am very excited. Throughout the year I work at the Humanities Theatre at UW as both an usher and a box office attendant.
In the fall I will be entering my first year at the University of Waterloo. I am enrolled in the Faculty of Environmental Studies and I will be taking Environment and Resource Studies (ERS).
